Liza's Machine Bread


1 tsp. salt
2 tbsp shortening
3 c. bead flour or use one tsp vital wheat gluten per cup flour
2 1/4 tsp yeast
2 tbsp sugar
1 1/4 c. lukewarm water

Put in bread machine and set for dough cycle. When done and raised punch down and put in regular loaf pan, rise and bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.

    1. you are most welcome search around on the site i make lots of variations and hamb buns this is the perfect bread my friend anna gave me the recipe her mother made sixty yrs ago my friend liza adapted to bread machine by the way i use this for cinn rolls to. i slice my breads with electric knife to get a good slice once cool i slice the entire loaf if not i find it harder to slice in a couple days best recipe ever and i love my many variations esp julekaga yum search they are all on my blog
