Corners of My Home

It's always been my philosophy to surround yourself with the things you love to have around. So with that, here's a little peek at a few things tucked into the corners of my home.

New Year Day Planner

I got the inspiration for the day planner here. It took me awhile to find a book that I liked and felt comfortable taking apart. When you remove the cover save the pages and you can use them for stamping, paper crafting and even Christmas ornaments. I don't have a cropadile but that would have made this project a lot easier, still though it was fun. 

While I was at it, I needed a birthday calendar to sit on my desk. I have it sitting on an easel next to my workspace in my stamp room so I can make cards for the people on my birthday list.

Tis the Season

Winter Storm Draco

Here's a few pictures of what Draco left us. We got about 11 - 12 inches of snow in our area. Definitely going to be a white Christmas here. I plan on staying in with a cup of hot cocoa and read The Long Winter by Laura Ingalls Wilder, as that is tradition in our family each winter. 

Making Ornaments

I thought these were so cute and found the idea for them here. I used old music for the stars in the small one and old book pages and punched snowflakes in the larger one.
