In Loving Memory

Today our sweet Gus passed away. Gus was such a good kitty and a wonderful little buddy, he will be sorely missed. We were so blessed to have him in our lives. Gus loved you all.

  8. I am SO very, very sorry! Praying you feel God’s comforting presence carrying you through this difficult time! I lost my kitty of 19 years just a few years ago. I still miss him, though the new little one that we adopted has helped bring smiles daily. The special place in our hearts for the one we loved and who loved us still remains though. Hugs and prayers!

  14. Oh No! I'm so sorry about sweet Gus. He was such a beautiful cat, and very wise ;). There are stray kittens in my neighborhood and one of them looks like a mini-Gus. Prayers of peace going out to y'all and Missy.

  16. Dear Becky, I am so sorry. I shall miss his weekly wisdoms. We lost our 15-year-old dog this summer. I say I'm not overly sentimental about pets because I've had many over the years and we do live in the country, but I missed Maddie's presence as part of our household deeply and still do.

  18. Each week I looked forward not only to your inspiring and educational posts, but also to seeing Missy and Gus. They certainly did their part, too, in encouraging everyone. Our pets are family members and a loss leaves a very large hole. Thank you for all that you do. It is a tremendous work and service.

  19. I will look forward to hearing more counsel from Missy.
I was just thinking of how very kind and caring Gus was. You wrote that when you are in pain, he does not leave your side. Love is so powerful. He surely gave that with his sweet and steadfast presence. What an unforgettable gift.
